Statement of Faith
What we believe
Kingdom Coalition affirms the historic Christian faith as summarized in the Apostles’ Creed, one of the earliest and most widely shared confessions of the Church. It has united believers across denominations, cultures, and centuries around the essential truths of the gospel.
Our Statement of Faith
The statement below follows the structure of the Apostles’ Creed, article by article.
Article I: God the Father
We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. He is sovereign over all creation, holy, good, and worthy of all worship.
Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; Psalm 24:1; Malachi 2:10
Article II: Jesus Christ, His Son, Our Lord
We believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son and our Lord — conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, fully God and fully man. We believe He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried, bearing the penalty for sin on behalf of all who trust in Him. We believe He rose bodily on the third day, ascended into heaven, and is seated at the right hand of the Father, where He reigns as Lord. We believe He will come again to judge the living and the dead, and that His kingdom will have no end.
Luke 1:35; Matthew 1:23; John 1:1, 14; 1 Corinthians 15:3–4; Acts 1:9–11; Hebrews 1:3; Matthew 25:31–32
Article III: The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who convicts the world of sin, regenerates and indwells believers, and empowers the Church for worship, witness, and service.
John 16:8; Titus 3:5; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Acts 1:8
Article IV: The Church
We believe in one holy, catholic (universal), and apostolic Church — the communion of saints across every time and place, united in Christ as His body on earth.
Matthew 16:18; Acts 2:42; Ephesians 4:4–6; Hebrews 12:1
Article V: Salvation
We believe in the forgiveness of sins, granted by grace through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ alone, and not by human merit or works.
Ephesians 2:8–9; Romans 3:23–24; 1 John 1:9
Article VI: Our Future Hope
We believe in the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting, when Christ will return to make all things new.
1 Corinthians 15:20–22; John 11:25–26; Revelation 21:4–5
